The company has an immediate need for both a  Truss Assemblers to work in a factory environment.

 

Truss Assemblers

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Assembles correct component parts and materials required to assemble floor trusses

· Assembles precut wooden parts to build trusses and similar supports or wall sections used in building construction: Moves specified precut parts to work area and positions parts in jig by hand or using overhead crane, or other machinery following supervisor’s instructions and blueprint specifications.

· Places metal reinforcement plates over connecting joints and connects parts at joints, using hammer, screwdriver, or pneumatic staple gun.

· Verifies dimensions of precut parts and accuracy of assembly, using ruler and gauges

Desired Experience:

· Construction and/or Manufacturing: 4 years (Required)

· Assembly: 2 years (Preferred)

· Truss building: (Preferred)

Skills and Abilities:

· Ability to work in a safe and productive manner

· Demonstrates the ability to lead others and give instructions and directions

· Understand the use and knowledge of standard tools: nail/staple guns, drills, screwdriver and hammers;

· Work as a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
